Dogecoin to Fuel 15 Mobile Titles via DogeOS and PlaysOut

Dogecoin is gearing up for its biggest gaming debut yet, as a new app layer called DogeOS teams with publisher PlaysOut to launch 15 casual mobile games by the end of 2025. The first title is set to arrive this August, and players will be able to earn Dogecoin rewards and collect “Doginals” — NFT items native to the Dogecoin network.

DogeOS: A Gaming-Focused App Layer
DogeOS, currently in testnet, sits atop the Dogecoin blockchain and brings Ethereum-style smart-contract compatibility to DOGE. It provides developers with ready-made tools for token rewards, item minting and cross-game interoperability.

“DogeOS transforms Dogecoin into a platform, not just a currency,” says DogeOS co-founder Alicia Kim. “We’ve built an environment where mobile games can tap directly into DOGE’s massive community.”

PlaysOut Brings Titles to Global Audiences
PlaysOut, known for adapting hit mini-games from Asia for Western markets, will handle localization, distribution and in-app integration. The publisher plans to migrate successful hypercasual hits onto DogeOS, adding Dogecoin rewards and Doginal collectibles to familiar puzzle, simulation and arcade formulas.

“Our goal is seamless on-ramp for both gamers and collectors,” explains PlaysOut CEO Marcus Liu. “Players launch the game as usual — then opt into DOGE rewards and NFT trades when they’re ready.”

Earning Dogecoin and Collecting Doginals
Across all 15 titles, gamers will unlock small DOGE payouts through challenges, leaderboards and seasonal events. Select in-game items — from player skins to power-up tokens — will be minted as “Doginals,” enabling true ownership and peer-to-peer trading in the MyDoge wallet or PlaysOut app.

“By linking gameplay to real-world value, we’re giving Dogecoin its most user-friendly use case yet,” notes Kim.

Roadmap and Future Collaborations
Following the August launch, new games will roll out monthly, with the total lineup covering a range of genres. Later in 2025, both teams aim to unveil licensing deals with major IP holders and explore integrations on additional crypto wallets and storefronts.

As DogeOS prepares for mainnet and PlaysOut finalizes its distribution channels, Dogecoin’s foray into mobile gaming could reach millions of casual players worldwide — marking a milestone in mainstream blockchain adoption.
